The headquarter of Luming Science and Technology Group is located in Dalian High-tech Industrial Zone. Luming Science and Technology Group has successfully pushed its self-luminescent industry to the world in 1992. In the year 1993, the company joined the core semi-conductive lighting system. Both of these have made the company become one of the few companies in the world, which has possessed both the luminescent material and luminescent chips --- two core technologies of semi-conductive lighting system. The company has also been honored with the titles of "prize of significant technology creation of national information industry" and "second prize of national science and technology creation" in 2006, therefore, "Luming" has become a well-known brand all over China.
     Luming Group now owns more than 120 advanced patents, over 1300 employees and 16 controlling or full asset subsidiaries, which has formed the advantageous format of "world top of luminescent material and world top four of LED luminescent chips".
     The indicating system which guided the survival of the working stuff in World Trade Center on 911 and the giant LED screen in 2006 World Cup in Germany as well as in the " Water Cube" of Aquatic Center in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games are all the independently-created production of Luming Group. Luming Group is certified by the state science and technology department as the only national corporate work station for post-doctoral research, the key unit in national 863 plan and the demonstrative engineering unit of national torch plan and national key industries.
     So far, Luming Group is mainly involved in five major blocks--rare earth luminescent material and product, semi-conductor luminescent chips, epitaxial wafer, urban lighting and giant LED screen, nm functional material, the construction of photoelectrons industrial area and so on. The complete industrial chain has become the booster for the quick development of the company.
